Darlene Studie- McDowell, originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, moved to Nashville, TN in 1986.  She was a singer,  songwriter, and keyboard player in a musical group from 1980 to 1995, during which she also promoted and booked bands in the Midwest.  After moving to Nashville, TN, she continued to book artists and bands in the Southeast.  Darlene was approached by a major production company in 1988 to help supply talent for music videos, which led to booking talent for commercials and film.

Her first agency, Career Modeling & Talent Management, started in 1989, as a local, non-union agency.  When DS Entertainment developed in 1998, it became franchised with the unions, Screen Actor's Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, which promotes local, national, and international talent and clients.

Darlene's passion for music production and working with new upcoming single artists/groups has brought her back into the music scene.  She is managing new upcoming artists with an Artist Development program set up through DS Entertainment Music.

Misty Pyburn was born in Nashville, TN.  She has been in the entertainment business for many years, either being on stage for a play or a commercial shoot, being a stand-in or sitting, waiting patiently on a film set.  She has been there and knows what it takes to get there and the drive you must have to keep going. 

Misty began acting as a child and has a deep dedication to the field.  She began helping people who wanted to get into the business, pointing them in the right direction, helping them get headshots and resumes ready, which all led to her becoming a booking agent for actors. 

Misty has worked as a hair designer along with pursuing an acting career since 1987.  She also has attended Tennessee Tech University.  Misty and her family recently moved back to Nashville where she and her husband reside with their son, Jack, who is four.  Their oldest children are now attending college.  Misty's passion for the acting field and dedication make her a perfect fit for being a successful actor's agent.
